Authors submitting to Future - Journal of Educational Media and Communication Innovation (JEMCI) are expected to adhere to the highest standards of academic rigor, innovation, and relevance in the fields of educational media and communication. The peer review process ensures that the journal publishes high-quality, impactful research advancing understanding and practice in educational media technologies, communication strategies, and their intersection. As a reviewer, your expertise is crucial in maintaining these standards and supporting the journal’s commitment to scholarly excellence.
1. Review Structure
A comprehensive review of a manuscript includes the following components:
- Summary: A concise summary of the manuscript’s key contributions, emphasizing its novelty, relevance to educational media and communication innovation, and interdisciplinary significance.
- Evaluation: A balanced critique addressing the manuscript’s strengths and weaknesses in relation to the following key criteria: originality, educational and communication impact, methodological rigor, and quality of presentation.
- Recommendation: A clear recommendation based on your evaluation (Accept, Minor Revision Required, Major Revision Required, Reject).
- Detailed Comments: Constructive feedback aimed at improving the manuscript, addressing critical issues, and offering actionable suggestions for strengthening its scholarly and practical contributions. Confidential remarks to the Editorial Board may also be included if necessary.
Reviews will be conducted anonymously to ensure fairness and impartiality.
