Future-Computational Neuroscience and Cognitive Systems (Future-CNCS ISSN:3081-0140) is an international academic journal dedicated to cutting-edge research at the intersection of neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and cognitive science. The journal aims to advance the theory and practice of computational models of brain function, neural information processing, and adaptive cognitive systems, with a focus on understanding and replicating biological intelligence in artificial systems. Future-CNCS emphasizes research topics such as neural coding, brain-inspired algorithms, cognitive architectures, neuroadaptive interfaces, and large-scale brain simulations, as well as their applications in areas like neurotechnology, intelligent systems, and human-machine collaboration.
As a multidisciplinary platform, the journal brings together scholars from neuroscience, computer science, psychology, and engineering to foster innovation and bridge theoretical insights with real-world applications. Future-CNCS strives to be a leading forum for advancing knowledge in computational neuroscience and cognitive systems, shaping the future of biologically inspired intelligence.
Future Publishing adopts a rigorous editorial process to ensure high-quality publications. Submitted manuscripts undergo a structured peer-review evaluation by three members of the Future Editorial Team (FET), who assess the work based on originality, scientific rigor, and impact. If a submission receives positive evaluations from at least two reviewers, authors are invited to revise and finalize their work for publication. There are no article processing charges (APCs) for publication in Future-CNCS, as the journal prioritizes academic excellence and accessibility.
