Author Guidelines

Future-Journal of Environmental Sustainability and Green Technologies (JESGT) is dedicated to publishing original, impactful research in the fields of environmental sustainability, sustainable development, and green technologies. Submitted manuscripts should address significant environmental or technological challenges and propose solutions that are reproducible, scalable, and practically relevant. Topics of interest include renewable energy, climate adaptation, circular economy, green infrastructure, and digital environmental monitoring, with contributions expected to advance both theoretical and practical aspects of the field.
Submissions should demonstrate practical relevance and applicability, particularly in areas such as sustainable energy, green urban planning, environmental policy, smart cities, and the use of technologies like AI and IoT in environmental systems. Experience reports that highlight advanced techniques in environmental innovation are welcome if they provide critical insights into challenges and solutions, offering new directions for research.

Manuscripts will be evaluated based on the following factors:
- Originality: Papers must present novel ideas or methods specific to environmental sustainability or green technologies.
- Significance and Relevance: The research should address pressing environmental challenges and offer meaningful contributions to theory and application.
- Technical Soundness: Results must be scientifically rigorous, reproducible, and robust.
- Quality of Presentation: Manuscripts must be well-organized, clearly written, and adhere to academic standards.
Papers that fail to meet these criteria may be subject to revision or rejection.
- Expectations for Paper Content
Accepted manuscripts should meet the following requirements:
- Clear Motivation and Objectives: Authors must articulate the problem being solved and its importance in environmental sustainability or green innovation.
- Novelty and Superiority: Submissions should highlight distinguishing contributions and provide comprehensive comparisons to existing work.
- Empirical Evidence and Practical Relevance: Manuscripts should include experimental results, case studies, or theoretical proofs that demonstrate the effectiveness, scalability, and real-world applicability of the proposed methods.
- Comparative Analysis: Each manuscript should position its contribution within the context of prior work, elucidating advancements made.
- Paper Types
- Theoretical and Methodological Papers: Papers that present new theoretical frameworks or methodologies with practical implications.
- Experimental Papers: Manuscripts detailing experimental design, methodology, and results with clear practical relevance.
- Applications and Experience Reports: Submissions highlighting insights or challenges in applying green technologies or sustainable practices, offering value to researchers and practitioners.
- Manuscript Specifications
To meet the high standards of Future - JESGT, manuscripts must:
- Adhere to the Template: Authors must use the official journal templatefor manuscript preparation. This ensures uniform formatting, including sections for title, abstract, keywords, introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references.
- Abstract and Keywords: Include a concise abstract (150–250 words) summarizing the objectives, methods, results, and significance. Provide 5 keywords to facilitate indexing.
- Length and Format: Manuscripts should be appropriately concise while covering the scope and depth of the research. There is no strict page limit; however, submissions should maintain clarity, focus, and relevance, adhering to the journal's quality standards and formatting requirements.
- Figures and Tables: Ensure that figures and tables are clear, properly labeled, and integrated within the manuscript. Provide high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi) where applicable.
- Equations and Notations: Use standard mathematical notation with clear definitions for symbols and variables. Equations should be sequentially numbered.
- References: Use APA 6th reference style. References should be chronologically listed and cited by following APA 6th style within the text.
- Supplementary Materials: Include any supplementary figures, data, or multimedia files that enhance the understanding of the research. These materials should be clearly referenced in the manuscript.
- Authorship and Submission Policies
- Authorship Criteria: Authors listed on the manuscript must meet the journal's authorship criteria, including making substantial intellectual contributions and taking responsibility for the integrity of the work.
- Ethical Compliance: Submissions must comply with the journal’s policies on plagiarism, prior publication, and simultaneous submissions. Authors must disclose any overlapping content and provide details of enhancements made.
- Submission Instructions: Manuscripts should be submitted electronically via the journal's submission portal. All files must comply with the journal’s template requirements.
