Future-Visual Communication and Media Arts (Future-VCMA) is an international academic journal dedicated to pioneering research in the fields of visual communication, digital media, and media arts. The journal seeks to advance the theory and practice of innovative visual storytelling, interactive media design, and emerging technologies in the creative industries. By focusing on the intersection of art, technology, and communication, Future-VCMA explores how visual and media arts evolve in response to technological advancements, cultural shifts, and societal needs.

The journal emphasizes key research areas such as digital aesthetics, immersive media (including virtual and augmented reality), generative art, motion graphics, user experience (UX) design, and the ethical implications of visual communication in the digital age. It also examines the role of artificial intelligence in creative processes, the impact of social media on visual culture, and the future of participatory media. As a multidisciplinary platform, Future-VCMA brings together scholars, artists, and practitioners from fields such as graphic design, film studies, human-computer interaction, and cultural studies, fostering dialogue between theoretical inquiry and creative practice.

Future-VCMA is committed to becoming a leading forum for exploring the transformative potential of visual communication and media arts in shaping future narratives, identities, and experiences. The journal encourages submissions that push the boundaries of traditional media while addressing contemporary challenges in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Future Publishing follows a structured editorial process to ensure the highest academic standards. Authors are required to submit their manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s template guidelines. Each submission undergoes a rigorous peer-review process conducted by three members of the Future Editorial Team (FET), who evaluate the work based on originality, relevance, and scholarly contribution. Reviewers provide detailed feedback using an Evaluation Form, and a manuscript must receive positive assessments from at least two reviewers to proceed.

Accepted papers are published in Future-VCMA, with authors given an opportunity to refine their work based on reviewer comments before final submission. The journal is committed to open-access principles, ensuring that high-quality research is accessible to a global audience. There are no article processing charges (APCs) for publication; however, authors are encouraged to engage with the broader academic community through presentations and discussions at relevant events.

Future-VCMA strives to uphold excellence in visual and media arts research, supporting innovative ideas that contribute to the advancement of the field and inspire future creative developments.
