Future – Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development (Future-EPSD ISSN:3081-023X) is an international academic journal committed to publishing cutting-edge research in the fields of environmental policy, climate governance, and sustainable development. The journal aims to advance both theoretical and practical knowledge in these domains by promoting interdisciplinary approaches to addressing the world’s most pressing environmental challenges.

The journal places special emphasis on research topics such as:

As a multidisciplinary platform, Future-EPSD attracts contributions from environmental scientists, economists, policy scholars, legal experts, and sustainability practitioners. The journal fosters the integration of scientific insight with practical implementation strategies to inform policymaking and contribute to global sustainability transformations.

Submission and Review Workflow

Publishing an article in Future-EPSD follows an eight-step process:

  1. Authors must prepare their manuscript following the official template guidelines.

  2. Submitted proposals are evaluated through a triple-blind peer review process conducted by three members of the Future Editorial Team (FET).

  3. Each reviewer completes a formal Evaluation Form.

  4. If at least two out of three reviewers approve the proposal, authors are invited to present their work at the International Conference on Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development (ICEPSD).

  5. Following the conference, authors are given 15 days to revise their manuscripts based on feedback.

  6. Revised manuscripts are submitted to the journal for final editorial review.

  7. Accepted papers undergo professional editing and are assigned to a forthcoming journal issue.

  8. The article is published free of charge in Future-EPSD.

Note: While publication in Future-EPSD incurs no article processing charges, participation in ICEPSD—the prerequisite for submission—requires payment of a conference registration fee.
