Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Privacy Statement

Future–RERD is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all individuals associated with the journal, including authors, reviewers, and readers. This privacy statement outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information in compliance with international publishing standards and regulations, including those upheld by SCI and Scopus-indexed journals.

Information Collection and Use

Future–RERD collects and processes personal data to support all aspects of journal operations, including peer review, publication, and communication with stakeholders. Information collected includes:

  • For Authors: Names, institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs, contact information, and manuscript metadata submitted during the publication process.

  • For Reviewers: Names, affiliations, fields of expertise, and contact information used to match reviewers to manuscripts.

  • For Readers: Voluntary contact details for journal notifications, subscriptions, or inquiry responses.

All information collected is used exclusively for editorial and publication purposes. We do not use or sell personal data for marketing or commercial purposes.

Data Protection

Future–RERD applies strict data protection standards to ensure the confidentiality and security of personal information. Measures include:

  • Restricted access to personal data, limited to authorized editorial and administrative staff.

  • Secure data storage using encrypted platforms and protected databases.

  • Routine reviews of data protection protocols to remain in compliance with evolving security and regulatory standards.

Third-Party Sharing

Future–RERD does not share personal data with third parties, except under the following circumstances:

  • To facilitate peer review (e.g., sharing anonymized manuscript data with assigned reviewers or editorial board members).

  • To fulfill legal or regulatory obligations.

  • For purposes of indexing and abstracting (e.g., Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ).

Author and Reviewer Anonymity

Future–RERD follows a double-blind peer-review process to maintain fairness and objectivity. Authors and reviewers are expected to uphold confidentiality throughout the review process and not share manuscript content or identities outside the review system.

Retention of Data

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill operational and legal requirements. Information related to published manuscripts is archived permanently for citation, indexing, and scholarly record-keeping purposes.

Rights of Individuals

All individuals have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data (subject to journal operational and legal needs).

  • Withdraw from non-essential journal communications (e.g., promotional notices).

  • Submit complaints concerning the handling of their data to the journal’s appointed data contact.
