Submission Requirements

All manuscripts must be submitted through the Future–RERD Submission Portal. First-time users will need to create an account. The corresponding author must confirm that:

  • The manuscript is original and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Any previous conference versions must be disclosed with differences clearly stated.

  • All co-authors meet authorship criteria and have approved the submission.

  • An ORCID ID is required for the corresponding author; others are encouraged to provide one.

Open Access and Copyright Policy

Future–RERD follows a Gold Open Access model. There are no Article Processing Charges (APCs) for authors. All published articles are freely accessible and licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0).

Authors retain copyright and may:

  • Share and distribute their work.

  • Deposit accepted manuscripts in institutional repositories after a 6-month embargo (green open access).

Peer Review Process

Future–RERD applies double-blind peer review. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two external experts. The process:

  1. Initial Check: Verified via plagiarism detection (iThenticate).

  2. Editor Assignment: Manuscript assigned to an Associate Editor.

  3. Reviewer Invitation: 2–3 reviewers selected based on expertise.

  4. Decision: Based on reviewer feedback – Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Reject.

  5. Revisions: Revised manuscripts may be returned to reviewers or handled directly by the editor.

  6. Final Check: Editorial review for clarity, consistency, and formatting.

Authors receive decision letters with anonymized reviewer comments. Editorial board members do not review their own submissions.

Post-Publication Visibility

Upon publication:

  • The article is indexed in major databases.

  • Authors are encouraged to promote their work via social media and academic networks (e.g., ResearchGate).

  • Institutional repository deposit is allowed post-embargo with proper citation:

“This document is the Accepted Manuscript version of a Published Work in [JournalTitle], © Future–RERD...”
